Founders Iryna & Andrii Kolomiiets.

Hi everyone! We are a family from Ukraine, Iryna and Andrii and here is our story.

The decision to start our own business together was a gradual one. After completing our degrees—Andrew in finance and Iryna in foreign languages—we gained different experiences. Andrew worked in photography & design, cloth manufacturing, and project management, while Iryna worked in IT as a sales & project manager for a long time.

At a certain point, we decided to combine our knowledge and skills and launch our own business, which posed a challenge as a couple. Initially, we needed a clear vision of what our business would be about. Therefore, we made many attempts and experiments, searched for niches, and gained a variety of good and bad experiences. 

We embarked on our entrepreneurial journey not just for financial gain or to break free from our old routines. The main goal was to find something that would be our inspiration, and we were ready to learn and work hard to get that kind of job. After completing several projects and acquiring necessary skills, we launched a shop specializing in custom night lamps and table decor. 

In 2019

we heard about Etsy as an international marketplace for handmade sellers and after careful consideration, we promptly showcased our products there. Etsy opened up new opportunities for us and greatly expanded our business outlook.

Receiving our first orders was thrilling, and we successfully assembled a small team with the participation of outsourced artists and manufacturers. However, the pandemic disrupted everything, and we had to take quick action.

In 2021

we took the leap to become the direct manufacturers of all our products, invested in our first laser machines and equipment, and delved into working with wood for the first time.

This year, Iryna designed our first wooden maps on acrylic, and this fresh idea set the beginning of our custom personalized maps era 😊

Iryna handled the design and communication, while Andrew handled manufacturing and shipping. Despite expanding our team and sharing responsibilities, we still pay attention and supervise most of them."

Our personalized location maps, each crafted with a personal touch, have captured the hearts of many and serve as perfect gifts for various meaningful occasions. They quickly became the best-selling products in our Etsy shop.

This success has allowed us to form a dedicated team that shares our love for working with maps, programming, woodworking, laser machines, and bringing innovative ideas to life. 

We are delighted to expand our product range and experiment with new material combinations, which allow us to create stunning lake maps, practical magnetic keyholders, wooden coasters, and unique epoxy world maps.

Through unwavering attention to detail, our team in Ukraine is dedicated to crafting fresh ideas into captivating works of art for the world to behold.

On February 24th, our resilience was tested as war disrupted our business operations. Ensuring the safety of our team and resuming production, we discovered new ways to ship our products worldwide.

Despite these challenges, our company continues to thrive, and we are grateful for every investment in our business, knowing that each purchase is a step towards our victory.
